<p>Un local con una cocina &#8220;como en casa de tu abuela&#8221;: te sientas, ya estans los entrantes en la mesa.. quieres una sopa..pues te levantas i te vas a cogerla&#8230;. Pan? &#8230;.te lo vas a cortar para tu mismo y para los demas en la mesa..</p>

<p>La unica cosa que tienes que pedir a Jérôme &#8211; el dueno &#8211; es para el vino .. i sabe de lo que habla.</p>

<p>Selecion pequena, pero justa i con precios super guay &#8230; en Francia es muy raro !!</p>

<p>El ambiente era muy simpatico, relax, aunque no conocia a ninguno i la présentacion de Sébastien Poncin ( Dir General de AIT Atrium &#8211; ) muy intéressante. Fue un reàl  placer i me lo disfruto.</p>
<p><strong>Ambiance sympatique, relax, bienque je ne connaisse personne et la présentation de  Sébastien Poncin ( Dir General de AIT Atrium &#8211; ) trés intéressante. Un vrai plaisir et une belle soirée.</strong></p>

<p>For the past decades the everyday consumer has been ignored. I’m not talking about the high end or even weekend wine geek, but rather the consumer who likes wine, wants a better bottle and could give a shit if the wine has terroir or 90+ points. They want to enjoy the wine for what it is, social lubricant,..</p>

<p>The problem is retailers, importers, and the press were all trying to sell the same package of BS that you need to “know wine” to love wine. It’s the teach first drink later model, which I believe leads too often to consumers afraid that they might do something wrong, and as a result they end up simply buying based on price and what the label looks like. Why, because they are the only things not trying to tell them that they aren’t smart enough to enjoy wine. The consumer has choices, or is starting to, and the internet is bringing us these choices.</p>
<p>these consumers now are talking about wine and buying wines, and are doing it with the tools they use to communicate within their social circles everyday.</p>
<p><a title="Facebook" rel="homepage" href="http://facebook.com/">Facebook</a>, once a college meet up site, is now a place where brands are being built&#8230;While in another more recognizable form for many of us we have Social tasting note sites like <a title="Adegga" rel="homepage" href="http://www.adegga.com/">Adegga</a>and Cellartracker which are allowing consumers to share online what wines they own and to see what their friends are drinking.</p>
<p>A lot of people laugh at these online tools  but it reminds me of a quote I found online: “This ‘telephone’ has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication. The device is inherently of no value to us.” This was Western Unions response to the telephones invention.</p>
<p>Ironically similar statements are being made about blogging today. The truth is that we are seeing the fading away of yesterdays’ tools of communication, giving way to a new way of looking at wine.</p>

<p>Today’s consumers have voices. The internet have given them voices, And these voices are not your competitors or enemies, but rather clients, readers, buyers, and sometimes new friends.But the real truth is that the consumer is tomorrows critic. And in the end if they don’t know where Tempranillo comes from it doesn’t matter,  they do know whether or not they like the wine. As a group they have an aggregated voice that is powerful and broad.</p>
<p>they will be the ones to buy your products, and share their thoughts with their friends, just like they always have. If you do not listen to them…you lose. If you choose to engage with them…you win.</p>
<p>Today the internet is also a conversation. It is not monologue it is a dialog. If you are not prepared to engage and talk to your consumer, be prepared for disappointment. Today’s consumer wants a conversation…no they expect one.</p>

<p>But the conference was certainly not a waste of time, and represented a huge coup on the part of Pancho Campo (seen at the microphone) and the Wine Academy of Spain team to have managed to get such a high-profile crowd together.&#8221;</p>

Kevin Zraly, the pre-eminent figure in wine education in the US &amp; Pancho Campo MW, President of the Wine academy of Spain who organised the event, moderated the session. For Parker the responsibility of the great winemaker is to “capture and translate the essence of your terroir and faithfully respect the vintage given to you by Mother Nature”.</p>

<p><strong>David Cunningham </strong>from <strong>Constellation Europe</strong>: &#8220;warned against the tendency to obsess over price; the industry should attempt a dialogue with the consumer more about quality than price, which is not easy in times of recession. The wine industry is the well-known drop in per capita wine consumption in the traditional wine-consuming countries. In Spain consumption is down but 72% of consumption is now in the DO’s. This is a challenge but also an opportunity at middle price points.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-weight:normal;"><img class="right" src="http://www.winefuture.es/image/ponentes/xavier_pages.jpg" alt="" /></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-weight:normal;"> </span>Xavier Pagès</strong>, Director General <strong>Codorniu</strong>: &#8220;As a group (young or new consumers) they see wine as more sophisticated and have a very skeptical attitude toward the traditional media and have more faith in bloggers. (We at catavino.net wondered if he was aware that as he was saying this, we bloggers were sending his message.) ahahaahhaaaaa !!!!</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-weight:normal;"><img class="right" src="http://www.winefuture.es/image/ponentes/R.Halstead.jpg" alt="" /></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-weight:normal;"> </span>Richard Halstead</strong> CEO of Wine Intelligence ( U.K): &#8221; restaurants are quite simply not doing their job; they are failing to engage wine drinkers as a group and these are the types you want in your restaurants because of their relative buying power. The huge problem is steep prices. There is a trend to eating “well” at home instead of going out. And high wine costs at restaurants clearly influence this trend.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Tim Hanni M.W.</strong>: &#8220;Wine experts and sellers should&#8230;accept that people react differently to wines and that these different reactions are not a fault of education or culture but are often physiological, a simple matter of the number of buds on the tongue for example. People who hate the smell of sauvignon blanc often have grass allergies. Shoes don’t fit all people, wines don’t either. There are no masters of shoes telling us than a shoe should feel good.</p>

<p>La del Arco de Triunfo es una de las muchas ceremonias que hoy se celebran en todo el país, incluida la que protagonizó el propio Sarkozy antes de recibir a Merkel a los pies de la estatua del que también fue jefe del Estado <strong>Georges Clemenceau</strong>, considerado el &#8216;padre de la victoria&#8217;.</p>

<p>Como es ya tradicional, también se guardará un minuto de silencio a las 11 horas y 11 minutos del día 11 del mes 11, marcando así el momento exacto en el que, hace 91 años, entró en vigor el Tratado del Armisticio.</p>
<p>El Tratado fue firmado por el mariscal francés <strong>Ferdinand Foch</strong> y el alemán <strong>Matthias Erzberger</strong> el 11 de noviembre de 1918 en un vagón de tren en el bosque de Compiegne, a unos 90 kilómetros al norte de <strong>París</strong>. En Francia fueron 1.394.000 los muertos en el conflicto, a los que se suman tres millones de heridos, de los cuales un millón quedaron inválidos.</p>
<p>No hay un pueblo en Catalunya- Nord, coo en el rest ode Francia que no tiene su monumento a los caidos, y los de la &#8220;Gran Guerra&#8221; son 2 a 3 veces mas numerosos que en la otras: 39-45 ( segunda guerra mundial) &#8211; etc&#8230;.</p>

<p>&#8220;En ce 11 novembre, nous ne commémorons pas la victoire d&#8217;un peuple contre un autre, mais une épreuve qui fut aussi terrible pour l&#8217;un comme pour l&#8217;autre. Les orphelins allemands et français ont pleuré de la même maniè_re leurs pères disparus&#8221;, a souligné le président de la République. Il a regretté que les deux pays n&#8217;aient pas su faire la paix en 1918, &#8220;non seulement parce que les vainqueurs manquèrent de générosité, mais aussi parce qu&#8217;ils refusèrent de voir le destin tragique qui les liait aux vaincus et que l&#8217;indicible horreur de la guerre venait de révéler&#8221;. AFP</p>
<p>«Je sais mesurer la valeur de ce geste. Les Français pendant cinquante ans ont beaucoup souffert à cause des Allemands. Nous commémorons aujourd’hui la fin d’une terrible guerre qui a apporté une souffrance incommensurable. <p>Lo mejor fue LA REVOLUCION &#8230;. con el reparto &#8211; reciente &#8211; de un pescador de Port de la Selva en &#8220;SUMA&#8221; ( cerca del parking)&#8230;.</p>

<p>Aqui pescado super fresco&#8230; como en Nuria, pero con una selecion abastante grande i precios casi  como en el mercado de Roses&#8230;..</p>
<p>Resulta que cada vez que voy alla esta siempre lleno y tengo que esperar&#8230;&#8230;.</p>

Vino de un color todavia rojo rubis, aromas de frutas, no demasiado maduro pero bien&#8230; en boca muy suave, muy bien equilibrado y hay vino ..  2002 fue fàtal en las mayores zonas de Europa ! Evoluciona muy lentamente, con aromas de cuero, etc&#8230; un reel placer !</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><br /><p>Born in Barcelona in 1953, Ramon Moscardó studied alongside his twin brother, Josep, at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes San Jordi, and at the Llotja de Artes y Oficios in Barcelona, , with whom he has exhibited regularly since 1978 at the Sala Parés (Barcelona) and at the D. J. Lester Fine Arts Gallery (Los Angeles).</p>
<p>In 1971 he received the First Prize for the Young Painters contest celebrated by the Sala Parés, and between 1972 and 1975 he received several prices from El Correo Catalan.<br />

Ramon Moscardó is for 35 years a painter of the team of Sala Pares and a collector of continuous success. The painter is described as a painter of &#8220;villages and people,&#8221; and this certainly defines him, because both his visions or urban landscape, as in his descriptions of various domestic environments, Ramon displayes to maximum capacity his intuitition and his keen sense to catch the environment, whatever. Self-demanding he delivers himself with passion to each work and he finds very difficult to discover where is the limit of finishing it. The recognition of his painting is becoming more extensive, both in his country and in his frequent incursions abroad.</p>
<div id="_mcePaste"><strong><a href="http://moscardo.webempresa.com/">Ramon Moscardo</a> expone en la galería desde hace más de 36 años, con éxito creciente tanto en la  Sala Parés como en las muestras que presenta en diferentes países europeos y de los Estados Unidos. Se describe a sí mismo como &#8220;un pintor de pueblos y de gente&#8221;. Esta expresión lo define tanto en sus visiones urbanas como en los los paisajes, también en sus interiores, donde demuestra su capacidad intuitiva y su capacidad para captar el entorno. Se entrega con pasión a su obra, a veces le cuesta determinar hasta qué punto una obra está terminada.</strong></div>
